Facial Proportion Benchmarks & Score Thresholds
How each sub-score in the Face Attractiveness Test is interpreted against population reference ranges:
High Harmony
Indicates minimal bilateral asymmetry (<1.5% horizontal deviation) and a facial length-to-width ratio within 0.05 of the 1.618 golden ratio. Requires a level head posture at 1.5m+ camera distance.
Balanced Proportions
The most common range for well-lit front-facing portraits. One or two features (such as jaw width or intercanthal distance) sit slightly outside the textbook mean, creating distinctive facial character.
Check Camera Angle
Frequently caused by close-up wide-angle selfie distortion (which artificially widens the nose and narrows the jaw) or slight head rotation relative to the lens.
